At Stockholm 1897, we set the table for both everyday moments and special celebrations, with classic Swedish flavors and a warm welcome whatever the occasion. Here, holidays and gatherings are celebrated with care – from herring lunches and crayfish parties to Christmas buffets, weddings, and memorial gatherings.
In the dining room, the fire crackles in the open fireplace – a natural gathering place for conversation, warmth, and long meals in good company. Everyone is welcome – we are open every day, all year round.

Want to host your celebration with us? We offer everything from relaxed mingling in our garden by the canal to a grand dinner in our beautiful dining room. We welcome groups from 30 up to 150 guests – all year round.
For all kinds of celebrations – christenings, weddings, anniversaries, or farewells – you’re warmly welcome to get in touch. We love creating personalized events and are happy to help you craft a memorable occasion.
The Sauna in Djurgården Canal
The sauna is small and unpretentious – built for conversation, laughter, and cold dips. It accommodates about 10 people at a time, with space for another 15–20 on the benches outside or in the small bar next door. Pricing & Booking Information
• 425 SEK for 2 hours per person
• In freezing temperatures, we reserve the right to close the outdoor bathing area
• Includes sauna access, towels, and access to changing rooms with showers
• Swimwear is available to rent on site (not included)
• The sauna accommodates 8–10 people at a time
• Drinks are sold in the restaurant
• Option to pre-order drink packages and food
Private Sauna Rental:
• Rental: 5,000 SEK for 2 hours
• Additional time: 2,000 SEK per hour
• Space for 15–20 people around the sauna
• Staff for bar/service can be hired if needed

Nu tar Häxangruppen och Burgsvik Group sitt fjärde gemensamma kliv – med Stockholm 1897, en levande mötesplats vid Djurgårdsbron med svensk restaurang, bastu, och båtuthyrning.
